Produced by Amy Poehler, the new series explores the Swedish phenomenon of decluttering.
Peacock’s new series of the same name explores these concepts. Across eight episodes, the series features eight different people at different stages of life, each embarking on a quest for reinvention. Three Swedish “death cleaners” — Katarina Blöm, Ellinor Engström, Johan Svenson — come to America to help them along this journey, mirroring tasks and roles à la Marie Kondo or Queer Eye. There’s a designer, an organizer, and a psychologist, each helping their subjects celebrate life as new chapters begin. Emotional stories of life, death, and memories are peppered in between, as narrated by executive producer Amy Poehler.
